How to Calculate Actual Cost of House Painting?

Usually interior painting job is charged according to square footage by the professional painters. According to the preparation required, painter’s experience, number of painters, location and quality of equipment, the job of painting is charged.

Formula to Calculate Your Painting Cost
In order to estimate the painting cost per sq. foot, the total price of professional services or supplies’ cost is divided by square footage you need to paint. This way, you will get per square feet paint cost.

For interior painting job, the prices of job may vary. So be sure to have multiple quotes and select the painter. For the whole job, a bid is usually a better choice for both painter and customer. According to the painter, the painting speed depends. When one painter paints entire room within 10 hours, other takes 20 hours for same job. So, calculating the cost on the basis of per hour cost is not accurate.
